马中教育发展协会全称“马来西亚-中国教育发展协会” （MALAYSIA AND CHINA EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION）（简称MCEDA），总部位于马来西亚首都吉隆坡，由马中教育交流友好使者张亮博士创办，十余年坚持促进马中院校合作。
MCEDA stands for "MALAYSIA AND CHINA EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION" (MCEDA). With the establishment of its headquarter in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia, MCEDA was founded by Dr. Zhang Liang who has been passionate in promoting collaboration of colleges and universities in Malaysia and China for more than ten years.
2018年1月经马来西亚政府备案，正式注册为“马来西亚-中国教育发展协会”。马中教育发展协会由马中高校校长、马来西亚政府教育部人员、马来西亚一带一路中心人员、中国驻外使馆成员、知名中小学教师、大学教授、优秀中国企业家、在马中资企业家协会成员发起创办。
In January 2018, MCEDA was legally registered in Malaysia and is headed by a team of Malaysian and Chinese university presidents, staff and officersfrom Malaysian Education Department, staffs of the Belt and Road Center in Malaysia,staffs of the Belt and Road Center in Malaysia, members of Chinese Embassy,outstanding primary and secondary school teachers, university professors, leading Malaysian Chinese entrepreneurs, and Chinese entrepreneurs who are successful in Malaysia.
MCEDA是在中国政府发起的“一带一路”倡议的背景下，为促进马中两国院校的合作交流与发展，加深两国人民在文化领域的相互交流而成立的协会组织。
Backed by"The Belt and Road initiative"launched by the Chinese government, MCEDA serves as an organization that promotes cooperation, inculcates exchange and development between Malaysia and China, it also strives to intensify collaboration o the two countries in the cultural field.
MCEDA自创立以来，一直致力于中马两国高校间的交流与合作，携中国高校在马建立分校、开办孔子学院、参与举办中国政府的文化旅游年、中国东盟大学生文化周、中国东盟高校校长论坛等活动，一直发挥着重要的桥梁与积极作用。MCEDA是重庆市市委人才工作领导小组“海外引才联络站”，山东女子学院第一届常务理事单位。至今，MCEDA已与中国127所大学，马来西亚48所大学签署了友好姊妹协议。
Since its inception, MCEDA has been committed to exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Malaysian universities. It has been playing an important role as a bridge and positive role in establishing branch schools in Malaysia with Chinese universities, opening Confucius Institutes, participating in activities such as the Chinese Government's Cultural Tourism Year, the China ASEAN University Student Culture Week, and the China ASEAN University Presidents Forum. MCEDA is the "Contact Station for Overseas Talent Introduction" of the Talent Work Leading Group of Chongqing Municipal Party Committee and the first executive director unit of Shandong Women's College. So far, MCEDA has signed sister friendly agreements with 127 universities in China and 48 universities in Malaysia.
马中教育发展协会是马来西亚高等院校在华开展业务的官方窗口，通过组织各种学术交流、学者交换和文化交流以推动国内外的国际化发展。
MCEDA is the official platform for Malaysian universities to conduct business in China in terms of staging international development domestically as well as abroad by organizing various academic exchanges, scholarly exchanges and cultural exchanges.
协会创建的目的是为了提供一个平台方便马中两国的教育者直接交流对话、互相咨询、互相了解、互相分享、互相学习与互相合作。
The objective of the association is to provide a platform for educators in both countries to communicate through dialogue sessions, consultation leverage, learn and initiate various exchange gestures in order to collaborate with each other in more ways than one.
马中教育发展协会的宗旨是极力引进海外优质教育资源，协助国内中学、大专、本科院校推动国际化发展。
MCEDA also aims at introducing high-quality educational resources and to assist in uplifting domestic secondary, tertiary and undergraduate institutions to internationally recognized standards.
协会鼓励学生积极走出去学习，深入体验，了解国际社会，以交流、实践、培训方式实现学生在学习中成长的培养目标。
The Association encourages students to study abroad,and to understand the international community, and to achieve the training goal of students' growth in learning through communication,practice and training.
协会希望通过“共享”的方式与中国教育机构共同发展，共同经营的方式携手合作留学咨询，专业培训和课程合作等项目。
The association hopes to be able to be involved in joint development with Chinese educational institutions in the form of cooperation in overseas students consultation, professional training and curriculum cooperation projects.
展望未来，MCEDA将衔接和促进马中两国教育机构的深入合作，组织教育发展综合性问题研究和交流，为国家、地方政府和行业在制定教育发展策略、教育规划和政策中提供咨询服务。
In the immediate future, MCEDA will provide linkages and develop in-depth collaboration between educational institutions in Malaysia and China, organize research and exchanges on comprehensive issues of education development and provide advisory services to national, local governments and industries in formulating educational development strategies, educational plans and policies.
推动和组织国内外学术交流，召开国内和国际学术报告会、研究会、学术论坛，编辑学术刊物，出版学术专著，通过互联网、媒体、电子刊物等交流活动信息。
The association will also promote and organize academic exchanges domestically and abroad,domestic and international academic reports, research conferences, academic forums, edit academic journals, publish academic monographs, and exchange information on activities through Internet, media, and electronic publications.
创始人张亮，教授，祖籍中国山东，管理学哲学博士、工商管理博士。马来西亚浩洋教育集团董事长，马来西亚中国教育发展协会会长，马来西亚丝绸之路主席。2019-2024期间张亮先后担任新纪元大学、测绘大学常务副校长，分管中国业务。
Founder Zhang Liang, Professor, originated from Shandong, China, Doctor of Philosophy in Management and
Doctor of Business Administration. He is the Chairman of Malaysia Hoyo Education Group, the President of
Malaysia China Education Development Association, and the Chairman of Silk Road Malaysia.During 2019-2024,
Zhang Liang served as the Executive Vice President of New Era University and University of Surveying and
Mapping successively, in charge of China business.
